Helmet Design with Joseph Drust

Here is a model I created in Zbrush following a tutorial by Joseph Drust on Pixologic's website. First time hard surface modelling in Zbrush, which can be quite difficult at times. Overall I learned a lot of techniques and its a great tutorial for anyone willing to learn the program.
Here is a turntable of the model out of Zbrush.

The final render out of Maya, with lights and volumetric scattering.

A screen capture of the model within Zbrush.

How to Train your Dragon Water Creature

A Zbrush project of a water creature in the style of How to Train your Dragon. It was quite the fun project. Modeled in Zbrush and rendered and lit in Maya.

Current Life Drawing Portfolio

Here is my current life drawing portfolio. Will try to go to life drawing more often in hopes of getting some better pieces. These range from 1 min to 10.

First 3D LipSync

Here's the first animation project of the new year, and first 3D lipsync. It turned out alright, animation can be quite the difficult craft. The line is from Men in Black.

Zbrush Head Sculpt

Here's a Zbrush self portrait sculpt. First time using this program, its very strange to start out in. The interface is totally weird, but after figuring it all out its quite powerful. These heads were sculpted in Zbrush, textured in Photoshop and rendered and lit in Maya. There's a turntable of the Zbrush sculpt and the bottom two are more caricatured versions.

A Bunch of Sketchbook Stuff

Here are a bunch of Sketchbook drawings I did over the break. Got back into drawing after doing 3D all semester. Pretty fun stuff. Now that I finished the sketchbook I had, I guess I gotta do 3D again.
