Some longer poses, so I decided to go ahead and try some simple light and shadow.. something I've rarely done before. Its really fun. Plus it helps you to understand the figures structure, by how the shadow and light wrap around the form.

The most recent Layout project was to design a 4-8 year old child's room. The males in the class did a little girls room and the females did a little boys room. I remember when I was around that age, a lot of the little girls collected snails and caterpillars, and kept them in jars as small pets. So with that in mind, I decided to go with the idea of an outdoorsy type girl, that loved to catch little bugs. And loved animals and the zoo of course. Her younger sister shares a room with her, hence the bunkbeds. The little sister generally follows the older sibling, loving most of same things she does, but also owns more of the girly things in the room... like the dancer model on the top of the bookshelf dresser thing and the locket box. The stuffed animals also happen to be the younger girls toys. The older one is 8 and the younger one is 6.
Again its interesting to see the change from the rough to the good copy.
