Pulp Fiction

Here's another digital painting assignment in which we had to paint someone featuring at least their head and one hand, I chose to do Uma Thurman in Pulp Fiction. Overall I had quite a bit of fun with this project... took quite a long time to complete though.

  1. Hi neb, this is amazing painting, i love the value and composition.
I do have some suggestions tho, and hopefully it will help a bit. (if u dont mind)
First the focal point of the painting should be (and i think it is) the face, so therefore the greatest contrast should be put in the facial area. In here i see it more strongly in her hands. Eventho the hands are in the foreground the contrast still put in where you want the audience to look at.
Second of all i feel the painting feels slightly un-natural, or plasticky, but its a simple thing, by adding a tiny details of of human pores (not like crazy pores but hint it that is not plastic smooth) by using brush strokes or texture, but dont go crazy.
Other than that it looks great ! :D keep up the great work :)
